DJJ Precision Engineering Ltd are delighted to announce their recent membership of the Welsh Automotive Forum, a powerful organisation representing automotive manufacturing, and technical competence, of the automotive sector in Wales.
The WAF organisation is the ‘voice’ of the automotive supply chain in Wales & represents the Membership, both nationally, and internationally, by working directly with OEM’s, Tier 1s and Government.
The growth of the automotive industry in the UK is well documented, with the prediction that by 2020, 2 million vehicles will be built per annum. For Wales, the announcements in 2016 from Aston Martin & TVR to locate vehicle assembly plants in Wales, generated international interest and exciting new opportunities for the supply chain.
Key roles for the Welsh Automotive Forum are to encourage industrial and academic collaboration, promote business excellence and facilitate business to business opportunities through networking and relationship opportunities. They also hold regular dialogue with equivalent bodies to WAF with the rest of the world.
DJJ are pleased to have already received invitations from the organisation, to participate in a number of high profile and key events in the future, and are very much looking forward to getting involved in the Welsh Automotive Forum events planned for the year ahead.
